SOAP BOX DERBY AND LITTLETON FIRE DEPARTMENT UPDATE:

 

Pictured is Jerry Stander, owner of Jerry Stander’s Collision Works, with Littleton Fire Chief, John Mullin. The Littleton Fire Department has been a tremendous supporter of the Sertoma Mile High Soap Box Derby and, in appreciation, a montage was prepared by Jerry Stander with the help of other staff members,  was presented  to John.   Prior to the last Derby Race, the Department brought several fire trucks to Photo Day which were a big hit with the kids.  Also, some members of the Department, and past members, participated in the adult races with members of the Littleton and Arapahoe County Police departments.  Their participation has been greatly appreciated!

 

Speaking of appreciation, none of us should forget how much time, money, and effort that Jerry Stander’s Collision Works expends for the Soap Box Derby. Thank you so much, guys and doll!

 

Next SBD meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Jerry Stander’s Collision Works.  Thanks again, Jerry. Bernie, and Dale!
